Venus Boys is a Berlin-based collective of FLINT drag performers founded by Camp Dad in May 2019. Since it started as a playground for performative masculinity, the collective has been growing and forever changing the drag scene in Berlin, expanding and challenging the boundaries of our community and the world. From theatre spectacles and cabaret to immersive exhibitions and demonstrations, Venus Boys is a very diverse collective, with writers, activists, photographers, performers, actors, singers, painters and all kinds of artists and identities. It’s a support network, a family, a movement.

"Drag King Horror Picture Show" is a performance inspired by the 1975 music film "Rocky Horror Picture Show" by members of the Venus Boys. The film is about the young straight couple Brad Majors and Janet Weiss. After their engagement, the two want to visit their mutual friend Dr. Everett Scott. On the way, they have a flat tire and enter the grounds of a castle to use their phone. The hunchbacked servant Riff Raff and the maid Magenta open the door for them. The whole thing gets even creepier when Brad and Janet meet the gentlemen of the house: Dr. Frank N. Furter invites them to his laboratory to watch his next experiment: an artificially created human named Rocky.
