DESIRES of SUBSTANCE and CARE

We are hosting a queer-centered event to nurture our community's process of shifting from isolation to connection – gently. Together we prevent the drowning of change, through the warmth of connection, soft (aware) music. A social distancing paradigm shift, bringing it in closer. Including group discussions/ talks as an opportunity to make connections with others in the community, followed by DJ sets.

Community Islands: Envisioning New Futures 

TrashEra Community Centre and TS Raver join forces in this collaboration to talk about AWARENESS, a much needed topic in the Queer Scene of Berlin.

We aim to talk about it and imagine together better, brighter futures. We bring the love and cachaça shots. You bring yourself. _____________

17:00: Sound Spa, a sonic journey guided by Lindred. This immersive deep listening practice is equal parts ephemeral sound design and cyber-witchery healing container. It will open our time together and set the vibe for the rest of the evening.

18:00: Community Islands: embodying awareness as relation care Founders and organizers Geovane from TrashEra and rafi from TS Raver talk about awareness, relational care, isolation and harm reduction in the queer club scene. They'll be joined by Sophie Ruston DJ and part of the feminist art and party collective Lecken and actively part of the recently formed awareness team of Renate/Else. The talk will be followed by a rave intention circle adapted for the community space.

19:20 Bonono is my real name Performance by Kewin Bo Above and Under (at the crossroad we start) : performance as means to investigate human behavior, body language and question one's surroundings. 20h DJ LENTIL Set focusing on a more relaxing atmosphere, bringing the space together and closing the event with the best mood for Sunday.
