Mensch Meier is a club and culture house in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin. A space for art, parties and politics. The business is run by a collective organised on the basis of grassroots democracy. The trades negotiate their autonomy and cooperation in regular plenary sessions. Self-determined work meets emancipatory celebration. This includes an awareness team as well as non-commercial and solidary housekeeping. At first, it was like this: “Let’s create a space where we can decide what happens.” Meanwhile, it’s more like: “We make the interface between vision and reality.”
