La By'le [ˈLa:baɪ̯liː] presents a party-ready mix of different genres of the Global South and spice their sound with free-spirited vocals that transcend national borders linguistically at the same time through humour and self-awareness. Since 2017, La By’le’s sweaty choreography, ambiguous lyrics and odes to German Gotham City life burn deep into our audience's memory thanks to our incredible members Babix, Sera Kalo, Pitota, Cara Muru and Luana Madikera. All members of La By’le have their cultural roots in the Global South (South America, Caribbean, Africa) and are an active part of the QT*I*BIPOC community in Berlin.

La By’le Festa: ALL EYES ON US highlights the contribution of QTIBIPOC artists in Berlin’s hip hop scene and encourages the integration and maintenance of safer spaces for queer identities in hip hop club culture. IXA, Ventura & MC Josh have given us the honour of sharing their unique experiences as queer artists in the genre of hip hop, as well as in-depth perspectives on the current state of the inclusion and representation of queer artists in Berlin’s hip hop scene.

Moderated by singer-songwriter & queer feminist activist Malonda, the evening will be a mix of reflection, celebration and community empowerment which will conclude with an incredibly uplifting set by Caramel Mafia!
